Good Morning Ladies and Gents!

Hey there yall,

I hope you are having a wonderful morning! Things are going great here. I have manage to get out of the funk that all this rain has put me in. I have a lot of things to do this weekend- mostly cleaning and packing for my move next week. But those things burn calories right?? LOL Hey, I will take anything I can get!

I have been dying for a killer salad all week. I am gonna go shopping in the morning tomorrow and like, 90% of my list is veggies! I can’t wait!!! Other than that- just drinkin water, and hopin like hell that I can keep up with my 64 oz on sat. and sun. I know it is easy to slip of the weekends, but I want to up my water goal on Monday, and if I have to get back to my 64, that will make it even harder.

BUT, I am not doing self doubt right now, I CAN do it, I am GONNA do it, and no one can stop me! LOL Well, I hope yall are having a fabulous Friday!!!

Fuze is the best thing EVER

Ok, so I have found a fun little treat if you need a little flavor in your day to day. As many of you know, I have been working really hard to get all my water in. Now, I am still getting all 64 oz. in everyday, but as a little pick me up in the morning (and to counter act the blandness) I have found Fuze! It is a juice that they sell at the convienence store. First off, it has only 10 calories in the entire bottle, and only 2 g of carbs (for you atkins-ers out there). Anyway, it helps me and I thought yall might want to check it out!

Today is the first day of the rest of my life!!!

Ok, enough of that dramatic stuff. This week has gone really good so far- I am sticking to my goal on my water and watching what I eat. I have also decided on a ”diet” that I am gonna start. I can’t wait to go shopping on Saturday, I really need some good salad stuffs. I already have a couple ideas for my goals for next week. It is all really really exciting!!!

Yeah, so last night didn’t go so hott- I was just so hungry! I dunno, it was wierd. But I am over that, and I know that next time that happens I will have healthy food to lean on. Yay!!

A new day

First off, I want to thank yall who supported me through my mini-breakdown yesterday.

 The good news is, I am over it now! YAY! just a little bump- but I didn’t freak out and run for the junk food- always an accomplishment. I am starting out new this morning, got my water and my good attitude. That is all I need at the moment, right? I gotta start coming up with Ideas on how to work out- I love the idea of just starting to walk….but it seems I moved to the rainforest with I moved here to OK….it rains ALL.THE.TIME. so I can’t really be walking outside…..Hmmmm, there has to be something….Any creative thoughts???

This sucks

Ok, so I know this is stupid…but I feel stupid right now- I just tried to jump rope- a great exercise, but I looked like a complete moron. working on losing weight is supposed to keep me from looking dumb. Damn it-

I am sorry- I know that this is just frustration talking. I am just gonna have to find another way to burn these calories. Grrr. Not a good afternoon.

Sitting at work

Ho-HUM…. I have another hour of work to go, which is a total bummer!!! Mostly because I am so ready to go home and work out. Whodda thought that I would be saying that? How odd…but yes, I joined the Fierce Grizzlies (grrrarrrrarrrarrrrr) and I am totally excited to get started on the challenge!

AND I only have 12 more OZ of water to go- I think I am gonna stick with my goal of 64 oz. for a week before I push my limits….it is all about baby steps right???

That first pound

OK ok, so I know that 1 pound doesn’t seem like a big deal for all you rockstars out there who have been doing an amazing job with your weight loss. But, it is a BIG deal for me! Yeah, that is right Ladies and Gentlemen, MY FIRST POUND is GONE!! Horray!!! I am literally doing the happy dance in my seat here….I win! What a wonderful way to start the week, and I have to admit- seeing my little Icon move it’s happy way down the little slider…NOW that is better than chocolate…

 Any ways, I just had to share- I am oh so excited!!!!!

Drinking Water

Yes, that is right ladies and gentlemen! It is only 8:47 in the morning, and I have already cracked open my first bottle of water….Not only cracked open, oh no, but have already down 10 oz of water. It may not seem like much, but for me this is HUGE! I will get to that 64 oz a day. I WILL and it will be fabulous!!!

Trying not to eat for comfort

Ok, so take a big deep breath! I have been pretty stressed lately, all things that are not a big deal- I don’t know why I have been like this lately. But I am doing everything I can NOT to go to the fridge- I CAN do this! I am going to make it through the first of the month and all these stupid bills with out breaking my healthy goals!!!

The Beginning of My wieght loss journey

So Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I have decided to start loosing weight. I have a long way to go, but I am starting with a couple of different resources. First, of course, is this websight, wich gives all sorts of ways to track my progress and such, plus this blogging, which has really caught my eye. Next, I am working with startyourdiet.com, it helps with more tracking and goals. Last, lhj.com has a great virtual model feature that gives you an idea of what you will look like when you get fit. It has really helped me see what my options are. I am really excited.

So now for the not so fun part. Currently I am 280 pounds and stand 5′11. There are so many things I am unhappy with about myself. The way I look, the way I feel, I am really looking forward to changing it all- I am so excited to think that this time next year I will be able to go running with out hurting my legs.

So there it is….My goal is to loose 65 lbs total. My immediate goal is to be at 278lbs by July 2nd. I am also setting a goal of drinking 64 oz of water every day. I am working up to it, but I hope to be there by Thursday the 28th.

Today didn’t start off so well, it is sunday and I went out for breakfast. Fried eggs, pancakes, hash, and hashbrowns. Yeah, I shouldn’t have done it. But I gotta keep my chin up and keep goin. I did watch my portions and left quite a bit on my plate which is a step up. Yay for that!
