Monday- A new beginning

I feel like today is such a good day. Today is a new beginning for me. I recieved my TurboJam on Friday, and I have read through all of the material and I am so ready to get started.

So, starting today I am drinking water (maybe a DIET soda once in a while) and eating healthy and start using my TurboJam today.

Good Morning buddies!!

 Well it is Friday, and I am oh so glad! I don’t have a field trip, but I am so sore from the ones that we had this week. LOL I can’t believe that I am that out of shape. Sigh! but not for long!!! YAY!

So, my DVDs should be coming in today, and I am so so excited because I want to lose some pounds next week!

Good Morning buddies!!!

Well, I am having a wonderful morning!! Unfortunately I don’t have any fun and exciting news about weight loss, only that I walked around the CU boulder campus for 2 hours yesterday, and I am trying to eat lots of fruits and veggies. We were outside so much that I got too much sun and am slightly burned, but I think the sun did me some good. My dark and gloomy mood from yesterday is gone, and I am ready to tackle the world again.

Things are going great with my BF, she is slowly getting healthy again, and not letting her husband push her around. I am so proud of her. She is also one of those out going types, so I see us being out and active a lot in the comming weeks.

Good Morning Buddies!

 I am doing fabulous today! My best friend flew in yesterday, and it looks like she is going to stay out here! YAY YAY YAY hooray!! She is in pretty bad shape, sick and trying to get out of an ugly marriage, but she is so strong and independant. She truely is my insipration to know that no matter what we can persivere. YAY! ( i know, I know I can’t spell)

I am definately gonna get my excersize today…We are taking the juniors and seniors on campus visits all this week for the local colleges. So at least I will be out and about.

Good Morning Buddies!

 I am feeling better today. I had such a rough day on friday but it got better after I destressed a little. I got a ton of cleaning done this weekend, and I am thinking that my hip may just be completely healed. I haven’t had that horrible ripping pain in my back since Friday. So, YAY! for that!

SO, about my little yellow Post It note: I am all about motivation and reminders of my goals. So I have taken a Post It note, wrote the number 70 on it and posted it on my computer monitor at work. Now, keep in mind that it doesn’t say “lose weight” or “pounds to go” because I really don’t want the people in my office to know what it is for- but I am so looking forward to watching that 70 turn into a 68 and then 60 and then before I know it I will be down to 15 and then GOAL!! Hurray! I thought I would just let you know one of my brilliant ideas! LOL

So, when I close my eyes, I can see exactly what I want to do over the summer. I drive a jeep, and put the top down every Summer….Well, THIS summer, I see myself in tank tops, halters, shorts and wearing a BIG BIG smile on my face. At 22 I should be buy bikini tops and short shorts for the summer….and who knows, I just might be ready for that in a couple of months…..we will have to see!!! Ok, well maybe not ready for that, but I WILL be ready for it next year!! WooHoo!!!

Friday!!

Good Morning!!!

I am kinda struggling today…I am in a little Schmode today. It was a rough night, but I am gonna try and work my way out of it today. I am having some coffee this morning, but plan on sticking to water after that. YAY!

I have a ton of stuff to do this weekend, but I am hoping that it will keep me going and pass by quickly, because Alicia comes in MONDAY!!!

Lets make some changes

Good Morning buddies!

 So, I have decided that it is a really good idea for me to check in each morning, to kinda keep me on track. I have my water here and am really looking forward to the day. I work at a desk all day but I am hoping that eating healthy will do the trick.

I have noticed on all the work out ads that they say that after they started working out they have SO much more energy. Man, I hope so…cause now I barely have the energy to function when I get home from work. There are so many things that I want to do, I just can’t seem to get it done.

The other main thing that I am really struggling with is my hip. You see, one of the aductor muscles in my left hip grew too short. After my back injury in Jan, that muscle started to tense up even more because I was having to use it so much to over compensate for the back. I am still really struggling with that, and the most frustrating part is- I know that I wouldn’t be having so much trouble if I was not as heavy and if I was more active… Sigh, I guess hindsight is 20/20 right?

So there it is…still evaluating why I want to lose because I just don’t seem commited enough yet!

I did It I did IT!

I am so SO SO excited!!!!! I just bought my turbo jam pack this morning!!! YAY! I should be getting it Monday or Tuesday! YAYAYAY! I am also so excited b/c one of my best friends in the whole world is coming to stay with me for a little while and I think I can get her to work out with me.

 Yay! It is a great day! And I am so excited to get my work out DVDs next week
